David Joselit’s Lecture, Video Installation, 00:27, 2018

This project is an installation created for David Joselit’s lecture held at the Yale School of Art. My work was influenced by his essay about the role of media along with the advance of technology, and thus, I chose to use a screen as a medium. As the screen become a pervasive part of daily life, truth or reality is fabricated through media and a goal is now making the image itself. The illusionary aspects of this video created with the screen and sounds, offer viewers to activate the sense of internal and external of screen-surface.
